Tea For Cold and Flu

Tea For Cold and Flu

It is especially useful in epidemic influenza.  It is called Boneset tea, “breakbone fever”, Thorough-wort,
or Eupatorium Perfoliatum.
It is time to prepare some tea if you are experiencing bone aches and soreness of flesh
There are other symptoms indicating that it is time to make a pot of Boneset tea:
  • You have a high fever
  • You experience, great thirst
  • You have chills that alternate with fever
  • You are worse in the morning
  • You have hoarseness and cough with sourness in the chest
  • Periodic attacks of some kind.  No energy every seven days or two weeks
  • Painful soreness of the eyeballs
  • Sternal pains especially while coughing

How To Prepare:

Boneset tea is bitter so you will need some honey or your favorite sweetener.  Place the loose leaf tea
in a tea infuser. Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes.  Add your sweetener and some marine collagen
to help with bone and joint pain.
I purchased the tea and collagen here on Amazon.  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018Y65RSQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Homeopathic Treatment of Flu Using Eupatorium Perfoliatum

Eupatorium perfoliatum or Boneset is also used homeopathically as a remedy for influenza.  It is also
selected for bone pain, chills, fever, hiccoughs, hoarseness and more.
It is very much like Bryonia as it addresses severe headaches with flu and thirst for cold water.  If you
have tried Bryonia and it did not work then try Eupatorium. Eupatorium is given if there are bones that
ache.  It is most similar to Oscillococcinum.
There are many remedies for cold and flu.  To ensure that you select the correct one, please consult a
professional Homeopath.
